On this great occasion in spring of 2008, we as artists from all across the planetm, came together to celebrate our world with a friendly compettition.
In spring of 2008, as our planet earth seems to be suffering a "NEVER BEFORE SEEN" pressure form our kind, we came together to design a sense for responsibility and respect.
We hope this gathering, to be a call for more attention towards the very fragile womb of Mother Earth uppon which we all carelessly step.
Planet Earth is our home. Let's keep it that way!

3rd place For the powerful employment of drama, and the solid use of "innocence vs. distortion" to create a painful modern day warning sign, goes to =bp-girl

Holder's Honorary Mention by ~cc-salehi I was personally amazed by the powerful "Editorial Illustration" qualities of the piece. I believe that the artist is pointing on such impressive outline of all what should not be. Such reasonable yet responsible approach, is in deed most honorable in my point of view.

Yup, I tend to get rusty when I go awhile without making anything. I'm still trying to get the bugs out. But I was glad to participate. It was a great contest.
